      • Not enduring sound doctrine.
      • Heap to themselves teachers after their own lust.
      • They have itching ears
      • Turn away their ears from the truth
      • Turn unto fables

• • Reasons for backsliding
    • Absence of the servant of God who had the vision. (Exodus 32: 1)
    • Servant of God yielding to the demands of the people. (Exodus 32: 1)
  • What we should do
    • Allow Spirit of God to stay within you permanently. Else the last state of the man is worse than the first. (Luke 11: 24, 26)
    • Preach the Word - reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
    • Obey to the sound doctrines.
    • Duration of being a believer is immaterial but what you are now is what matters
    • Never compromise with the worldly people.
    • Do not have evil associations
