Bible Passages

II Corinthians 6: 14 to 18 - This is an exhortation given to the children (II Cor. 6: 1, 13)

II Corinthians 6: 16 is a prophesy given by God Himself to the church

    • Ye are the temple of the living God and God says,
      • I will dwell in them,
      • I will walk in them
      • I will be their God
      • They shall be my people
    • For the above to be fulfilled (II Cori. 6: 14 to 16), do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers:
      • What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?
      • What communion hath light with darkness?
      • What concord hath Christ with Belial (Satan or wicked man)?
      • What part hath he that believeth with infidel?
      • What agreement hath the temple of God with Idols?

Come out from among such associations and be separate says the Lord.

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

- II Corinthians 6: 16
