Bible Passage: Deuteronomy 12: 13
God has called His people to worship Him. But He does not want His people (believers) to worship Him along with heathen (unbelievers and the ungodly).
God delivered His people (the Israelites) from Egypt through Moses. He commanded them to offer their burnt offerings in the place which God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there and not in every place that they see. (Deuteronomy 12: 11)
He further commands them to bring their sacrifices unto Him unto the door of the tabernacle. (Leviticus 17: 5)
When His people call upon Him, he draws nigh unto them. (Deuteronomy 4: 7)
We are the only nation who has got God so nigh unto us. If we worship God with whole of our heart, God will accept that as a sweet aroma.
If we keep our identity, definitely we will be a blessing to all. And God will give everything.
True worshippers shall worship the Father in truth and spirit. (John 4: 23)
Serve the Lord with all fear (Psalm 2: 11) and worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 96: 9)
If you keep His commandments God will bless you with all the blessings you need in this world and finally when the trumpet sounds, you will hear God's voice which says, 'Gather my saints together unto those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.' (Psalm 50: 5)
Therefore, do a reasonable service unto the Lord. (Romans 12: 1)
