Bible Passage:
Jeremiah 35:15 - I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
Here God wants to teach a lesson to His chosen people
When Jeremiah asked the Rechabites to drink wine, they refused to drink.
Jeremiah 35:5-10
The Rechabites stood firm in their consecration.
I Samuel 15:6
- Are you sticking to the consecration that you have made with God and many times you have failed.
- We should grow in the image of God.
- Joseph led a consecrated life.
- Fear God, God can make anything with nothing.
- Obey your parents in the Lord.
