Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgements, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your father's giveth you.

Moses was a chosen leader who led the Israelites from Egypt to Canaan. Moses always got the commandments from God. And then taught them to the Israelites.

Listen and observe statutes and judgements of God. Why we should listen and observe?
1. To live
2. To go in
3. To possess the Land

To Live
Israel people were lived in Egypt. They were all suppressed by Pharaoh. God delivered them and He only made them live.

To go in
Moses went Egypt as a servant of God to deliver and to lead Israelites to Canaan. We need to move on. We cannot stay in a place. We should move forward in our faith, in our spiritual life. We need to show the determination to grow and move on towards perfection.

To possess the land
When we reach the perfection he expects, we will posses the land that He has prepared for us. We will be able to behold Him when He appears in glory and will also inherit that eternal city.

In these days we are all having this experience. This world is consider as Egypt. God has made us to live in this world. We are all marching forward to the country which He has prepared for us. If we listen and observe what the Lord says through His servant, we'll possess that Land.
