Bible Passages: Proverbs 14: 12 & 16: 25

Solomon, the author of this book was the wisest man known in history. Yet he lost all his blessings, his kingdom and everything. The reason is he went after his own way. As a result his end was very miserable.
Real Examples to support this verse:
    1. Lot applied his own mind in God's counsel and was not having mind to obey. So, he lost his wife. (Gen. 19: 35)
    2. Rehoboam rejected and belittled the counsel of the elders. So, he lost his kingdom. Moreover, the Kingdom was divided into two and the kingdom lost its peace. (II Chr. 12)
    3. Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves. So, they lost the kingdom of God. (Luke 7: 30)
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3: 5)
Therefore, when God tells you to do something, don't apply your brain
Never tell God "Lord I can't". But tell God "Lord give me grace"
You may not understand why Lord has said this but accept what the Lord has said with Truth and Spirit.
God's counsel may come through messages, servants of God and elders. If you accept the counsel, your end will be great.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14: 12 & 16: 25
