    • Grace and truth were revealed through Jesus Christ

Works of Grace

  1. Grace of God bringeth salvation (Titus 2: 11)

By grace are ye saved through faith. It is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2: 8)

  1. Grace of God teaches us (Titus 2: 12)
      • To deny ungodliness.

Having form of godliness but denying the power thereof. (II Timothy 3: 5)

Our lives should reveal the power of godliness.

      • To deny worldly lust

Abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul (I Peter 2: 11)

  1. Great Grace strengthens us (Acts 4: 33)

With great power to witness for Jesus.

We need this grace not only for earthly life but also to do His ministry successfully. Only with this grace we can boldly testify to all people.

  1. Sufficient Grace to uphold us (II Corinthians 12: 9)

His grace is sufficient, His strength is made perfect in weakness.

Cling or lean on His grace.

We might face trials and tribulations in this world, but His grace will uphold us in all weaknesses.

Luke 1: 28 – Mary received high favour (grace) from God. Luke 2: 35 – It was also prophesied to her that a sword shall pierce through her own soul. This grace will give her the strength she needed.

  1. Exceeding grace helps us give cheerfully (II Corinthians 9: 14)

Give in liberality even amidst great trial of affliction and deep poverty, with abundance of joy (II Corinthians 8: 2)

God loveth a cheerful giver. So, give not grudgingly or of necessity. (II Corinthians 9: 7)

Give you ownself to the Lord (II Corinthians 8: 5)

  1. All grace will give you all sufficiency in all things (II Corinthians 9: 8)

Having all sufficiency in all things, you will abound to every good work.

Grace should abound you and you should grow in it.

For those who abound in His grace and wait for His appearance, He will also give one more grace at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (I Peter 1: 13) Hope to the end for this grace. By,

  1. Girding up the loins of your mind and Lights burning (Luke 12: 35)

When you pray or mediate God’s Words, your mind should not waver.

  1. Being sober

For those who abound in His grace, He also gives His truth so that they will inherit heavenly kingdom.

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
