Bible Passages

I Thessalonians 5: 18Praise God always. This is the will of God concerning you.

Exhortation given to the Believers having many noble characteristics.

In Bible people praised God during many situations:

When God did wonders

Moses praised God after crossing the Red sea. Israelites praised God after they walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea (Ex. 15: 1)

They sang saying 'Who is like unto Thee?' (Ex. 15: 11)

Since God picked him out of the horrible pit, out of the miry clay

David praised God for bringing him out from all sins and from all dangers (Ps. 40: 2)

By praising all times, David received God’s sure mercies (Act. 13: 34)

When God does miracles in your life, praise Him.

By experiencing Victory

Israelites crossed Jordan so they praised God (Jos. 3: 17)

Jericho wall fell when Israelites praised God with the great shout (Jos. 6: 6)

When you praise God, all your problems will cease.

When enemies surrounded them

Jehoshaphat appointed Levites to praise God.

When they praised, the Ammonites, Moabites and the children of mount Seir rose up against each other to utterly slay and destroy themselves.

When you praise God, all your enemies will be destroyed.

When everything was lost

Job was a man who had received a good report from God himself.

Job lost all his possessions and his children in a day.

But praised God and said, 'Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.'

Praise God even when you lose everything.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
