Bible Passage: Isaiah 45: 2

God brought Israelites out of Egypt. But they rebelled against the Jehovah God.  God gave them up to captivity in Babylon. God wanted them to humble themselves and turn their ways towards Jehovah God. (Isaiah 1: 19)

When the people of God repented and cried for God’s mercies, they got the favour from the eyes of God. So, God sent a non-Jewish King, Cyrus II (590 B.C. – 580 B.C.) God anointed him and spoke to him holding his right arm saying, (Isaiah 45: 1)

“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in Sunder the bars of iron:” (Isaiah 45:2, 4)

God has also given four promises:

  • I will go before thee.
    • If The Captain of our salvation is going before us, who can be against us? (Rom. 8: 31).
    • If He does not go, then we will stumble and falter (Jude 1:24)
    • He is our forerunner. Walk looking at Him.
  • I will make all the crooked places straight.
  • I will break in pieces the gates of brass and,
  • I will cut in Sunder the bars of iron.

The Lord who led Moses, the Lord who led Joshua is leading us. He has called us and gave this wonderful ministry. Therefore,

    • Without questioning come…
    • Do not look back…
    • Let whatever the problem might be, just trust Him…
    • Let us march together…

Holding our right hand, He says, “I will take you to Zion”.
