Bible Passage
I Peter 4: 18 - And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Therefore,
- If you would judge yourself you shall not be judged (I Cor. 11: 31)
- Form of godliness will not help you.
- Cry before it gets late. Do not be like Esau (Heb. 12: 17)
- Obey to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
If so,
Who will not inherit the kingdom of God?
- Unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (I Cor. 6: 9)
- Fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners. (I Cor. 6: 9, 10)
- Love for money. (Lk. 18: 18 - 25)
- Murdering the innocent in the secret places. (Ps. 10: 8)
- Whosoever calls his brother fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. (Mt. 5: 22)
- Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (Mt. 7: 22)
Who will inherit the kingdom of God?
- Following the Apostle and saints of God. (I Cor. 11: 1)
- Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish. (Lk. 13: 3)
- Crucified with Christ nevertheless you live; Yet not you but Christ liveth in you. (Gal. 2: 20)
- Your righteousness should exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees. (Mt. 5: 20)
Hence,
Make your calling and election sure for if ye do these things ye shall never fall. For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (II Peter. 1: 10)
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. (James 2: 10)
YOU ARE CALLED FOR GOD NOT FOR THIS WORLD
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
